Skyactiv Multi-Solution Scalable Architecture
Our CX-60 car has a special feature called Skyactiv Multi-Solution Scalable Architecture. It's designed to give a thrilling driving experience while being eco-friendly. The CX-60 has a six-cylinder engine and front-engine rear-wheel-drive layout, making it the first car to showcase this version of our platform.
8 Speed automatic Transmission
The powerplant in the CX-60 is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that uses a clutch instead of a torque converter. This setup allows for a more direct transfer of torque from the engine and motor, leading to quick and responsive shifts similar to a manual gearbox. This design aligns perfectly with Mazda's Jinba-ittai driving philosophy, enhancing the connection between the driver and the car
M Hybrid Boost (MHEV48), is paired with e-Skyactiv G. This unique mild hybrid system captures energy from deceleration, storing it as electricity to power a motor that assists the engine during pull-away and acceleration. And to further improve fuel economy, the motor also assists in the light-load range from idling to low speed, the area where internal combustion engines are at their least efficient.

Kinematic Posture Control (KPC)
The CX-60 boasts sophisticated front and rear suspension systems along with innovative Kinematic Posture Control (KPC) technology. KPC cleverly employs the brakes to stabilize the car during turns and rough terrains, ensuring a smooth and confident driving experience for the passengers.
